In other novels, the one-sided power dynamic is also. In the series, Cameron and Peter, by the end, enjoyed their submission, so it's all good I guess, but that certainly won't work well on a lot of people if it's real life. A relationship like that usually doesn't work out well and often end up becoming toxic. This is a novel, so I don't want to bring up too much reality, but you can see in daily life that lots of guys in a relationship, be it a heterosexual or homosexual one in nature, try to pose as the more dominant one, as a facade, because they have a stereotypically masculine image to upkeep. I enjoyed reading the other two Marchesi brothers' stories, but what Devil and Joe had is something more - the power is much more balanced, instead of one-sided. Wish theres gonna be a book 2 for Devil/Joe ![]()
